The 33rd Annual Medieval Fair of Norman was a smashing success. We had guests from all over the United States stop by our booth this year.
We had a family from Las Vegas that used to live above us when we were there who had recently moved to Oklahoma City. On Saturday - the hottest day of the renaissance fair - they stopped by our tent all dressed up and ready for extreme fun.

There were people in Pirate regalia, Knights and Paladins, faire maidens and some not-so-faire. One gentleman’s costume was so good I thought that the actor who played Gandolf from Lord of the Rings had shown up for a special appearance.

So here’s the EXCITING news! Gina is going into heat. We’ve decided to let her and Chance mate. So let’s keep our fingers crossed for healthy puppies and mommy. They are both Morkies. Both had pure bred Maltese mothers and pure bred Yorkshire dads (different moms and dads - Chance is from California and Gina’s from Ohio) I know many of you have expressed an interest in the puppies if we were every to breed them, so let me know now and I’ll put you on the list. Of course I don’t know how many puppies she’ll have but I’ll let you all now and post pictures if and when they do IT.
It is so funny watching Chance follow Gina around EVERYWHERE! She can’t in pee without him right there. He’s so attentive just like the perfect husband.
Speaking of perfect husbands…Well it sure was wonderful having Dennis home for a few days. We sure do miss him when he’s on the road. He’s back in Florida doing the Tampa Faire but he will be going to Norman Oklahoma soon to do that event. Then he’ll be home for awhile. YEA!! The kids will go to visit their mother for Spring Break so I’ll have a couple of days to myself. It’s been a long time since that’s happened. Wonder what I’ll do?!?

Stud #1

Stud #2
Check out these studs. It was the Miller boys together once again. Stud #1 is Gary Miller and Stud #2 is Eddie Miller. These are Dennis’ cousins who came to Tampa to help set up for the Bay Area Renaissance Festival. I’m asking you, could you work with three such handsome men around? I think I’d just sit back and watch the muscles flex.
Although Dennis hasn’t said anything yet, I’m sure they will be up to no good together. I’m sure the women will flock to them. I know I would. Yummy! But don’t get your hopes up too much ladies. They aren’t available for anything but outrageous flirting. Which that in itself is a lot of fun and if Gary and Eddie are anything like Dennis, they’ll be professionals at it, so to speak. That was one of the things that first attracted me to Dennis. So, stop by the newly set up booth and give them a hug! They’ll eat it up, and you’ll have the time of your life. There is nothing like the Miller’s together. It’s MAGIC!!

Massy
Chance
As many of you know we have a dog named Chance. He is an adorable morkie. His mom was a maltese and his dad was a yorkie. Hence the name morkie.
Well Dennis, who is currently in Gainesville, Florida, was shopping at one of his favorite stores (the man store that sells tools, hardware, etc) and he looks over and sees Chance but it’s really not Chance since he’s still in Ohio with us. It turns out to be his doppelganger. Well kinda, it’s a girl dog that looks just like him. Her name is Massy and she’s very beautiful (and of course thinner than Chance). Her face is a little darker but she even has Chance’s famous ears. Take a look and let me know what you think. At first I just thought Dennis was homesick, but when I saw the picture…I can see the resemblance.
Did you see Chance’s wife in the background of the picture with him? She’s my baby. Isn’t she cute too?

Well Dennis made it to Florida save and sound. He’s set up and looking forward to this weekend. Just look for the Italian Flags (Green/White/Red). Remember, it’s his first time at this event so stop in and give him a warm welcome and see all the wonderful handcrafted leather goods.

The Happy Couple
Well Congratulations Nicky and Carlo.
He popped the questions and she said yes!
Let’s wish them the best of luck in all they have ahead of them. I know they were planning on getting hand-fasted this year but now…I’m not sure if they will still do the hand-fasting first and then get married or if they will just get married. I’ve not been informed of the date yet and I don’t know if it’ll be a Rennie event or not. Hey they just decided to do it. I figure I’ll give them some time to figure out the details and then I’ll let you all know too.
Again, papa and I both wish you all the happiness you so deserve. Love you lots.

Hey guys Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. How about getting her something different? Instead of getting her the traditional roses that will die in a week or so, why not get her manacles with roses on them. They are guaranteed to last a lifetime and from personal experience, they will bring pleasure to both of you. Just give us a call to choose the color of leather and fur.
Whatever you decide, enjoy yourselves and let each other know just how much you care.

HOME SWEET HOME
Well Dennis made it back safe and sound! He’ll stay here in Ohio for a little while then he’ll be heading back to Florida to do the Bay Area Renaissance Festival in Tampa. We are really looking forward to doing this event. It’ll be our first time there. In previous years it conflicted with other faires we were doing.
It was funny, the last week Dennis was in Florida (Gainesville), I was talking to him one morning and it was 22 degrees here in Ohio and he was only 17 degrees in Florida. Unfortunately, I hadn’t packed him anything for cold weather figuring he was in sunny Florida. Guess I was wrong. Opps!
The kids and I sure are thrilled to have him back no matter how long it’s for. I know I missed all the cuddling, plus it’s nice to have another adult around to help with our teenage kids. Boy are they a handful. I of course have called my parents and apologized for being a teenager myself and all that I put them through. My dad just laughed at me. They are great kids as many of you know from experience, but they are typical teenagers, so it’s good to have Dennis home to take care of things.
Stop in and see Dennis (or maybe me later) at the Bay Area Renaissance Festival. It will start on February 21, 2009. Hope to see you there.
P.S. Don’t forget to keep checking our Renaissance Events Schedule to see which faires we will be attending so you can stop by and visit. We would love to see you!
